Bright future ahead for Deagon trainers
A BRIGHT and prosperous future awaits Deagon Racecourse as a training facility.
The racecourse, which has been a training ground since 1896, will continue its tradition and trainers can expect improvements to facilities within the next six months, according to newly appointed Racing Queensland Limited chairman Kevin Dixon.
Mr Dixon, who is known by several of the senior trainers at Deagon, said he wanted the history of Deagon as a training facility to continue and for trainers to walk with their heads held high as they entered their workplace.
